Participating in the Great Lakes Duathlon Series is very easy.

1. You do NOT need to sign up separately for the Series. You are automatically registered as a series participant when you sign up for any of the five series races.
2. To qualify for series awards, you must participate in at least three [3] of the five [5] series races. Don’t worry, we’ll track event participation and series points standings of all qualifying participants.
3. Racers who participate in all five of the series events will receive a custom “I raced them ALL” series award.
4. Please let us know if one of our events is your first Duathlon race, because if it is, we’ve got a special finisher’s medal for you!
5. Your AGE GROUP is determined by USA Triathlon Rules which states that your age for the entire series will be the age you will be as of December 31st of the current year.
6. Elite athletes can request to start in the first wave. However, several of our events are co-promoted – South Shore and Shoreline. Please note that we are unable to guarantee first-wave status in these events.
