This is a Long Course Duathlon – 3 Mile Run – 33 Mile Bike – 1 Mile Run.
The 3rd year of this event is also Race #4 in the Great Lakes Duathlon Series. The course is flat and fast.

A beautiful and scenic course through the country roads surrounding the lake country area.

WHAT GREAT LAKES MULTISPORT PROVIDES
We provide technically sound, safe, and exciting events in great Southeastern Wisconsin locations. All participants receive a DRI WICK SHIRT, goody bag, chip timing, food, and fun after the event. We operate several water/Gatorade stations along the run course, and one water/Gatorade station on the bike course.
Bike racks are marked with your bib number and starting-wave. Each mile of running course is marked. Courses have highly-visible signage for each race turn. The bike course has 5-mile indicators.
Elite Athletes wishing a First Wave exemption must contact us at colebraun@me.com and request a first wave start.
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the first three overall female and male winners. Age group awards will be given to the top 5 male and female in the following categories: under 16, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and up. Overall winners will be removed from the age group awards.
EVENT RULES & INFORMATION
- The event has no time limit.
- Drafting is not permitted. Penalties will be enforced for drafting.
- No MP3 players, iPods, radios, or headphones allowed on the bike course. Helmets are MANDATORY.
- Chip pick-up is immediately prior to event, during race-day registration hours. You must have your bib number [from Transition] for chip pick-up. Lost chips are participant’s responsibility [$50 timing company fee].
- Transition closes at 8:45 a.m., 15 minutes prior to Event Start. Equipment must be removed from Transition immediately following the Awards Ceremony.
VOLUNTEER
Get a front row seat as a volunteer! Volunteers are needed throughout the event to help with participant body marking, directing athletes on and off the course, and handing out water and food. All volunteers receive a t-shirt, food during the race and a big thank you!!!
